I have been involved in book writing and publishing since 2012. I closed down my consulting practice of twenty-five years to concentrate on my passion – writing and publishing.
During my consulting years, I began developing a method of budgeting and money management in conjunction with my wife, Maureen. My first task after closing the consulting practice was to formalize the process we have been using now for over thirty years. The result of this is the Money Action Plan (MAP) System and the six associated books. You can see these at www.moneyactionplan.com. You can also download a free book explaining the entire system.
For those of you who care about education, I am a graduate of the University of Redlands in California with both a Bachelors (BSBA) and Masters (MBA) degree in Business Administration.
I also taught various computer science classes at several colleges in California for 10 years or so.
I am currently working on many different books (see Books in Progress) as my interests are not in sticking to just one type of writing. Many authors say that you have to pick a writing niche and stick with it to be successful. But that depends on your definition of success. If you are looking to make a living writing and publishing, then sticking to one niche may be the way. I think writing and possibly publishing something, no matter what niche it is in, can be considered success. Of course publishing is much easier now than it was before the self-publishing revolution. There will be much more about self-publishing and what I can do to help you in this in the near future. These will soon be listed under Author Services.
